I believe the need to meet people where they are at in their lives and walk alongside their journeys of healing and recovery. I have worked in child welfare as an ICWA Case Manager for 5 years and in community mental health in Ramsey, Hennepin and St. Louis Counties for 9 years. I have worked with folks from all backgrounds and traumas. Historical trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, domestic violence, difficult life transitions, and abuse are most certainly in my wheelhouse.
I provide a warm, comforting and confidential space to allow an environment of healing and recovery. I believe in working with folks at their own pace and comfort level with a trauma informed and person-centered care approach. I accept most health insurance and offer a fee for service plan.
During my free time, I love being outdoors camping and hiking, spending time with my family, and going to live music shows. I also prefer to be called Mel and use she/her pronouns.
